Chicken Bacon Ranch Wraps are the perfect easy meal – and they are such a tasty recipe. The creamy ranch dressing combines with the salty bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy chicken to make such a delicious wrap.

Do you ever have those days when you just don’t know what to make for dinner? Whether we are busy or it is summer, and I don’t want to heat up the house, sometimes you just need a quick and easy dinner idea for your family.

These Chicken Bacon Wraps are such an easy dinner to throw together because you can prep all the ingredients ahead of time, including the bacon, and then make the wraps at dinner time in less than 10 minutes. It’s an easy meal to use for meal prep as well, and it’s so versatile – you can use leftover chicken, rotisserie chicken, cooked chicken breast, or even chicken tenders or leftover turkey.

These tasty wraps also make an easy lunch recipe – you can either make them the night before or whip up a quick lunch in the morning before heading out for the day.

Ingredient Notes

  • A Store-Bought Rotisserie Chicken, with the meat removed from the bone and diced up, or Cooked Chicken Breast, shredded or diced. You can also make these wraps using leftover turkey from Thanksgiving. They are kind of like a healthier version of the Arby’s Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich.
  • Cooked Bacon
  • Whole Wheat Tortillas, Wraps, or your favorite brand of Large Tortilla
  • Ranch Salad Dressing (or Blue Cheese Salad Dressing if you have someone who doesn’t like ranch!)
  • Cheddar Cheese or Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded or sliced
  • Shredded Iceberg Lettuce, Romaine Lettuce, or Salad Greens
  • Cherry Tomatoes or Grape Tomatoes, sliced
  • Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • Hot Sauce or Buffalo Sauce, optional
  • Optional, other sliced fresh vegetables – Use what your family likes, red peppers, shredded carrots, and cucumbers would also be really good!

I like to use blue cheese dressing for this, but my daughter prefers ranch dressing. Either one works, or try your favorite dressing instead. My husband is a hot sauce kind of guy, so he started to add hot sauce to his, and my son followed his lead on that.

What is great about this dinner is you make it how you like it. I like a lot of salad greens in my wrap, while my daughter could go with a bit less…so I didn’t give exact measurements on every ingredient because it can vary as to how you like to make it.

Equipment Needed

  • A Sharp Knife & Cutting Board

How to Make Them

  • Dice up the cooked chicken. (If you’re cooking the chicken breast, cook it at 400°F for 20 minutes, then let it cool before slicing it up. You can also cook the chicken in an Instant Pot or cook grilled chicken breasts.)
  • Spread a thin layer of ranch dressing (or blue cheese) on the middle of each tortilla. If you are using hot sauce, add your desired amount when you add the salad dressing.
  • Place the cheese over the dressing, then lay the slices of bacon on top of the cheese.
A paper towel with air fryer crispy bacon on it.
  • Add some chicken over the bacon and cheese (about two to three tablespoons of cheese for each tortilla and 1-2 strips of bacon.)
  • Add tomatoes, red onion, and dark salad greens, depending on how much you like.
  • Roll the sides of the wrap up tightly around the filling, just like a burrito, then slice it in half.

Note, for smaller children, you can use smaller flour tortillas to make smaller wraps and reduce the quantities of everything.

Recipe Yield

As written, this recipe makes eight wraps, so you should expect to use 1-2 slices of bacon, ½ cup of salad greens, ¼ cup of cheese, 1 ½ – 2 tablespoons of the ranch, and ¼ cup of cheese per wrap. You can eyeball the chicken and onions – just use ¼ of what is there per wrap.

You can adjust it to make as many wraps as you need.

How to Store Chicken Wraps

If you have leftover wraps or want to prep the wraps ahead of time, you can wrap them in plastic wrap, then store them in an airtight container.

Once dressed, the wraps will get soggy after a day or two, so I wouldn’t prep them too far ahead of time, but you can prep all of the ingredients to have a delicious lunch or an easy dinner ready to go whenever you need it.

Recipe Tips

  • To soften the tortillas and make them easier to wrap with, you can microwave them for about 30 seconds, covered with a slightly damp paper towel. If you happen to be using really thick or homemade tortillas, you may need multiple paper towels in layers, every few tortillas.
  • Make bacon in your air fryer and store it in the fridge wrapped in a paper towel. Reheat it in the microwave for about 15 seconds – you will have crispy bacon whenever you need it.

What to Serve With Chicken Bacon Ranch Wraps

To make this an even easier dinner to prepare, we like to serve it with fast sides:

What I can tell you is that this makes a delicious, quick, and easy dinner. Perfect for those busy nights or when you just don’t feel like putting a whole lot of effort into dinner!

Enjoy this quick dinner and the extra time spent with your family (or by yourself) since dinner was just that easy to make!
